Paintwars Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Paintwars ("we," "us") handles information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
A) User-provided information
- Display names or usernames used during gameplay
- Drawings and other game-related content you create
B) Information from Discord (when used as a Discord Activity)
If you play Paintwars inside Discord, we receive limited information required to run the Activity, such as:
- Discord user ID
- Username or display name
- Avatar
- Server and channel identifiers related to the game session
C) What we do not collect
- No chat messages (the Service has no chat feature)
- No advertising data
- No IP address retention beyond what is required for normal request handling
2. How we use information
We use information solely to:
- Run multiplayer game sessions
- Display drawings and player identities within a game
- Store completed drawings and game results
- Maintain and improve the Service
3. Storage of drawings
Drawings and game content may be stored in object storage managed alongside the Service infrastructure. This storage is used only to support gameplay and related features.
4. Sharing of information
Information is shared only:
- With other players in the same game session (for example, display names, avatars, and drawings)
- With infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Service (such as hosting or storage providers)
Paintwars does not sell personal information.
5. Data retention
Information is retained only as long as necessary to operate the Service and support its features. Drawings may be retained as part of stored game results.
6. Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated accordingly.
